Subsurface Science Symposium 2003

 
The Third Annual INRA Subsurface Science Symposium will be held at the Salt Palace Convention Center and the Wyndham Salt Lake City Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah on October 5th through 8th, 2003.

This year’s theme is "Advances in Understanding and Modeling Subsurface Processes."

The keynote speaker is Dr. Harrison Schmitt whose background includes Apollo astronaut, lunar module pilot, geologist, the only scientist to set foot on the Moon, and former senator from New Mexico.

Plenary speakers include Dr. Terry Hazen from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Dr. Rosemary Knight from Stanford University.
