Core courses will be delivered using two types of distance
delivery systems.
IP-based H.323 Video Conferencing System: The lectures
are delivered in real time to the nine
SSGP sites via the IP-based H.323 video conferencing system.
Course
Management System: A course
management system will be utilized as a supplementary instructional delivery system. Blackboard
will be used as the standard course management system for the
core courses.
Elective courses can
be delivered using a distance technology of the instructor's
choice.
Meetings among
students and/or faculty can also be held via the IP-based
H.323 video conferencing system.
Washington State University is the central switching & operations provider for the video conference systems. See the
procedures for scheduling
meetings.
Boise State University is the Blackboard
course site provider for core courses. Link to
blackboard.boisestate.edu and log in the core course site
with your username and password. Contact Dr. Nancy Hinman (nhinman@selway.umt.edu; 406-243-5277)
