Course Delivery Systems

Core courses
will be delivered using two types of distance delivery systems.

  • IP-based H.323 Video Conferencing System: The lectures are delivered in real time to the nine SSGP sites via the IP-based H.323 video conferencing system.

The course lectures are also delivered on the web (live and archived steaming video) - see http://www.ett.wsu.edu/whets/class/
    classFall2002.asp?cl=INRA
    .

  • Course Management System: A course management system will be utilized as a supplementary instructional delivery system. Blackboard will be used as the standard course management system for the core courses.

Elective courses can be delivered using a distance technology of the instructor's choice.

Meetings among students and/or faculty can also be held via the IP-based H.323 video conferencing system.
